Agilisys has appointed Claire Darbyshire as Head of the Health and Social Care Technology Practice.
With over 23 years of public sector experience, Claire’s appointment will support Agilisys’s growth ambitions within social care and health, reflecting the crucial role technology now plays in supporting the public sector.
Claire’s varied background in health provider, commissioner, and regulatory roles provides a rich strategic and operational change experience portfolio. Coming from diverse and complex environments, including health and social care, population health, wellbeing, and community safety, Claire will bridge the gap between emerging global technological development and the public sector’s challenges.
Claire commented: “Digital technology offers opportunity and challenge in the social care and health sector.
My ambition is to support our clients to explore their digital potential, create high-impact solutions to the challenges they are facing now, and devise strategies for sustainable future digital developments.
“I am excited to introduce the creative technological expertise at Agilisys into the dynamic pathways between health and social care, around communities and place-based approaches to make a difference to working lives, communities and the people who live in them.”
Agilisys continues to adapt to changing market demands. Investment in the health and social care technology team, led by Claire, is the latest step in this strategic direction and comes at the tipping point for technology adoption in this space.
Louise Ah-Wong, Senior Partner at Agilisys, said: “We are delighted to have Claire on board, and her strong leadership and rich portfolio of experience will bring about measurable outcomes for our clients. At a time when the pressure is really on the public sector and social care, technology will play a key role in helping shape reforms over the coming years. The addition of Claire to this new team will help position our capabilities strongly and leaves us well placed to better meet the needs of our customers.”
