Sales Operations Manager, Gemma Teagle shares more about her role within Agilisys’ Sales Team.

What is your role within Agilisys? 

work as a Sales Operations Manager within Agilisys’ Sales Team. Within this role, I work with a large number of stakeholders and senior decision makers in regard to new and exciting sales opportunities and tenders that come into our sectors. I also assist with developing and implementing new processes and better ways of working within the Sales Team and other teams across the business.  

Tell us about your team 

I have been really grateful to meet so many of the amazing people we have working at Agilisys. It is great to work as part of a team who help each other grow and develop. Many of the colleagues within my team have also become great friends outside of work. 

How did you get to where you are now? 

I started at Agilisys in 2017 as an Operations Assistant in our Transformation (now DigIT) division. In this role, I learned best practices and operational methods that helped me progress my career and be promoted to the level I am today. 

I worked at an assistant level for one year before moving to the Sales Team as a Sales Operations Executive where I applied the knowledge I gained in my previous role to our sales strategy and approach. I have recently been promoted to manager within my Sales Operations team.  

What do you enjoy most about your job and working at Agilisys? 

As mentioned previously, the people at Agilisys really make it an enjoyable place to work. Agilisys as a business also has a positive impact across primary sectors of local government and healthcare. This gives me huge satisfaction knowing that the work we are doing provides support through technology to citizens within the UK, while also working with supportive colleagues along the way.  

What advice would you give to someone looking to start their career at Agilisys? 

Take every opportunity given to you – Agilisys has always provided me with opportunities to learn new skills and develop existing skills. Over my almost four years at Agilisys I have been given many valuable experiences and lessons that I will continue to use throughout my career!
