Graduate IT Trainee

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a number of confident and proactive Graduates to join our team in our West London office working for the Hammersmith and Fulham Bridge Partnership, a joint venture between the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and Agilisys, one of the UK's most innovative IT and business process providers. We currently have 3 vacancies, working within different areas of our Applications Support team. To succeed in all of the roles , you will need to be a graduate with a 2:1 or above in an IT focused degree, with a strong academic record, a real passion for IT and a strong interest in the Public Sector. You will have excellent communication and customer care skills, a good understanding of IT, enjoy solving problems and delivering projects to deadlines.

 

Applications Support IT/Business Analyst

The successful candidate be working within our applications support team to contribute to a first class IT Support Service. As well as IT support this position also gives the opportunity to look at the underlying business processes that enable us to provide a fast and efficient Service to our clients; therefore developing a good understanding of IT and how it impacts on the business. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure of a number of business areas including House Management, Financial Services, Social Care and Highways. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of how issues are logged and resolved and the steps that are taken to keep within our SLA’s.

 

Applications Analysts

Working within our experienced applications team you will be trained on a number of applications and technologies and will work within the team to deliver an excellent IT Support service to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your existing IT Skills and knowledge, you will receive training on technologies such as SQL, HTML and .NET and be given in-depth training on the GIS application.

 

Junior Developer

This position requires a high level of computer literacy, working within the Applications team you will use your existing IT knowledge and additional training to work within a very experienced systems integration/solution project team to investigate feasible technical options and work on developing, designing and implementing these options to support the wider business goals.This position requires a good level of computer literacy and a keen interest in developing. The successful candidate will be trained in .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Windows 2000/2003 as well as a number of other related technologies.
